The International Register of Consultant Herbalists and Homoeopaths
The International Register of Consultant Herbalists and Homoeopaths is proud to support the Save
Our Herbs Campaign.
The IRCH is a Register of Traditioanl Herbalists and Homoeopaths that supports and teaches Traditional
Herbal Medicine that has accumulated over many thousands of years by the indigenous population of the
World.
This knowledge is therefore the property of the people abd as Herbalists we stand as guardians and
protectors of the natural healing arts so that they may be passed from generation to generation.
We stand full square behind the movement to protect the National Heritage of Herbal Medicine from the
attempted takeover and control, by either pharmaceutical companies or government. Such an act would only
serve to remove the freedom of choice of healthcare from the people of this country.
The last attempt to curtail the practice of herbal medicine gave rise to a huge public wave of objection which
led to the formation of sections 12.1 and 12.2 of the Medicine Act of 1968 to produce a safe and effective
way of maintainin the availablity of herbal medicine to the public. This lastest move to regulate is an attempt to
remove that hard won victory.

Mohsin Institute - for education and training of future practitioners
Mohsin Institute was established in 1978 in Leicester by Hakim M Salim Khan and is the leading
organisation for practice, education, research and training in the wisdom, science and practice of Tibb, and
alternative medicine.
Tibb is a living tradition of natural medicine that has been practiced throughout human history in different
cultures. As a dynamic living tradition it developed in the Middle East whilst coming into contact with many
other forms of health and medicine. This inclusive approach enabled this tradition to integrate into it the wide
spectrum of knowledge from various cultures. Because of this diversity and richness, Tibb is referred to by
many different names: Hippocratic, Eastern, Islamic, Greco-Arabic, sufi Humoral medicine, Unani, Hikmah
and Tibb. The Mohsin Institute over the last 30 years, has been providing information, education and
training in Tibb and alternative medicine.
The Mohsin Institute believes that herbal medicine and natural traditions of health should remain available

Cropwatch which is an Independent Watchdog
for Natural Aromatic Products used in the
fragrance/cosmetics, flavour, aromatherapy,
traditional herbal
medicine and phytochemical industries.
Many of these natural commodities are under
threat via their over-exploitation in the wild (see
articles in Cropwatch Files section), or their
continued use and availability faces uncertainty
via the imposition of restrictive and
over-precautionary legislation.

The Alliance of Registered Homeopaths (ARH)
is a UK professional organisation that supports
and promotes a high standard of safe and effective
homeopathic practice.
We are committed to ensuring that quality
homeopathy is available to all who wish to use it,
raising public awareness of homeopathic treatment,
encouraging a high standard of education for
homeopaths and encouraging co-operation between
our Members and other healthcare professionals for
the benefit of patients.
We engage in research, publishing and other activities
that enhance our understanding of homeopathy and

Established in 1955, the National Health Federation is an international nonprofit, consumer-education,
health-freedom organization working to protect individuals' rights to choose to consume healthy food, take
supplements, and use alternative therapies without government restrictions. With consumer members all over
the world, and a Board of Governors and Advisory Board containing representatives from 7 different
countries, the Federation is unique as being the only consumer health-freedom organization in the world to
enjoy official observer status (able to speak out for health freedom) at meetings of the Codex Alimentarius
